The Southern Illinois Parrot Head Club is celebrating it's 3rd "trip around the sun" on next Saturday (2/6) with a party in Marion, IL. Planned entertainment includes The Conch on the Half Shell Band. See their calendar for more information.

Meeting the Dane County Humane Society

We had a great meeting with the Dane County Humane Society, learning about their Second Chances program and other opportunities we will have to give our time, and donated food and supplies.

We donated $1,250 of the money we earned at the football games to their Second Chances program.

Monthly Meeting - 1/27, 7PM at Humane Society, Bourbon Street Grille

Our next monthly meeting is January 27th at 7PM.

At 7PM, we will meet at the Dane County Humane Society, 5132 Voges Road in Madison (South of the Beltline on Stoughton Rd, first left is Voges Rd.)

Anybody coming to the Humane Society is encouraged to bring something for the animals from their wish list.

A business meeting will follow around 8PM at Bourbon Street Grille (6312 Metropolitan Ln in Monona).

Biz Reports on the Parrot Head Cruise 2009

Biz has finally gotten his report on the Atlanta Parrot Head Club's 2009 Parrot Head Cruise online, only 60 days short of the next cruise.

Check out his "Stories we could tell" for tales of drinking, shaving, eating and other debauchery (including getting married) throughout the Western Caribbean (Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, Roatan) with 462 Parrot Heads.

They raised $57,033 for Breast Cancer charities!
