Plunder the Pubs on September 23rd!

It's the 2023 LOCS Pirate Pub Plunder benefitting Dane County Humane Society!

Come join in the fun and walk the plank on Saturday September 23, 2023

Dress in your favorite Pirate or Wench attire. This year's pub crawl is on Atwood Ave starting at 6:00pm at Harmony Bar.  (see -- highly approximate -- full schedule below.)

A donation of $10.00 will go to the Dane Co Humane Society! Please bring some Booty (cash) as some bars do not accept cards... There will be beads and other treasures for yer pleasure!

Party with a Purpose on Sunday!

Join us at 11AM on Sunday, September 10th at Oakstone Recreational (304 Commerce Parkway, Cottage Grove) for this year's Party with a Purpose!

Loyal Order of the Caribbean Soul - Southern Wisconsin Parrothead Club is teaming up with Camp Createability and Special Olympics - West Madison Area to raise money for both organizations!

Here are some of the fun activities that will be going on:

• 50/50 Raffle
• Silent Auction
• Live Music from Banana Wind from 1pm-3pm

March Happy Hour - Chuck Bayuk 3/19 at The Harmony

This month's Happy Hour is coming up on Saturday, March 19th at Harmony Bar and Grill (2201 Atwood Ave)!

We'll be arriving around 6:00PM (maybe earlier, maybe later), and staying for Chuck Bayuk and the Drunken Sailors at 8PM and on until we go home!

Spring Highway Cleanup - Saturday at Morgan's!

On Saturday, May 16th, meet at 10AM at Morgan's in Pine Bluff, 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P.

We'll carefully social distance and pick up trash.  Please bring masks (and of course you wear gloves picking up trash anyway!)

Morgan's is closed, but has carry-out food, we can order by phone for pickup.  Bring a cooler and drinks, hopefully we can find a place to safely and distantly eat and drink "together" after.

In the event of rain, we will still clean. If there is lightning, we'll meet and reschedule cleaning.

Bring work gloves, long pants and boots are recommended because it can be muddy along the road.  Forecast looks good (and warm) so far!

Buffett Concert Watching Party 6/10 at Mary's!

There's no concert at Alpine this year, so we'll be gathering at Mary's house to watch the Frisco, TX show on Margaritaville.TV and having our own tailgate!

Tailgating starts at 6:30, Mary will provide rocks margaritas and some snacks, please bring finger food to pass and some drinks to share!  Concert starts at 8!

The Fall Highway Cleanup and the Pirate Pub Plunder are this weekend!

On Saturday, 10/1, meet at 10AM at Morgan's in Pine Bluff, 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P.

In the event of rain, we will still clean. If there is lightning, we'll reschedule cleaning to Sunday 10/2.

Bring work gloves, long pants and boots are recommended because it can be muddy along the road.  You never know, you might find the lost shaker of salt and get a prize!

On Saturday night (10/1) at 6PM the Pirate Pub Plunder will take place on Atwood Ave... Here's our planned route....of course everything is a bit flexible:

• 6:00-7:30: Next Door Brewing Company
• Until 8:15: Stalzy's Oktoberfest (and maybe stop for Chocolate Shoppe ice cream if the weather is nice....)
• Until 9:15: The Harmony (There's a concert with a cover at 9:45)
• Until 10:15: Wilson's
• Until 11:00 - Tex Tubb's Taco Palace (late night tacos were a little known substinance food of pirates)
• Until the end of the night: Players, The Alchemy, or wherever else we end up...

Pre-Buffett Party at Mary's 9/2

It's Buffett Concert time again, so it's time for the annual pre-party at Mary's house the night before (9/2)!

Enchiladas and Margaritas are provided, bring an appetizer/desert to pass, and beverages you desire and gather around the campfire in Mary's yard to relax before the show!  Email locs-buffett@gmail.com if you need the address or directions!

The party will swing in to action around 6:30PM and go until it's over!  (Bearing in mind most people have to get up for the show on Saturday..)

- Stock up on small bills!  We'll have jello shots, suck and blows, and shotskis available!  We'll also be taking pictures in the freezer to help you keep tabs on the happenings!
- Checkin is 3pm and checkout is 11am.
- Party starts at 4, but we'll be partying as soon as we're there!

The Annual LOCS Holiday Party is coming up at 6:30PM on December 9th in the Grotto at Angelo's in Monona (5801 Monona Dr).

Please bring cash to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank and supplies for Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (click for the Wish List).

Bring a Buffett or tropical gift valued at $15-$20 if you wisht to participate in the the gift exchange! Handmade and creative gifts encouraged! Bring small bills or jokes if you want to steal someone else's loot!

Right on the heels of the Chili Cook-off on Friday October 9th (click for more information), Saturday (10/10) is the Fall Highway Clean-up!

There is much construction on the beltline and still some Mineral Point Rd, be sure to leave early!

2015 Pirate Pub Plunder Coming up Friday (8/14)

Ahoy mateys! Again we be settin sail fer an adventure filled with rum, grog, scallywags, and treasure (okay, maybe only treasure in the sense of doubloons leaving yer pocket)! As with years past, we be chartin a course fer the evening, starting with assembling our crew at The Bayou New Orlean's Style Tavern at 6:00PM.

As always, we'll raise some money for our furry mateys, so be bringin $10 with ye (cash, check, doubloons accepted) for the Dane County Humane Society, and help us collect more treasure from landlubbers along the way!

From The Bayou,, we sail to Arrrrgus Bar and Grill at 8:00, Ye Rigby Pub at 9:15, Tipsy Cow at 10:30, and we'll end at Genna's Lounge around 11:45, because we can't drift far or in a straight line!
