Fall Highway Cleanup - 10/17 at Morgan's

Coming up soon...  at 10AM on October 17th is our Fall Highway Cleanup!  Meet at Morgan's in Pine Bluff 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P.

We'll carefully social distance and pick up trash.  Please bring masks (and of course you wear gloves picking up trash anyway!)  Bring work gloves, long pants and boots are recommended because it can be muddy along the road.

Morgan's bar interior may be closed, but they have carry-out food, we can order by phone for "pickup" if we need to.  Bring a cooler and drinks just in case, hopefully we can find a place to safely and distantly eat and drink and meet "together" after.

Weather is getting unpredictable, if it's rainy and cold, keep your eye out for more information!

If you find the shaker (of salt -- maybe not full) turn it in for a free drink (eventually)!

Monthly Meeting and Highway Cleanup - 7/29

Our next monthly meeting and summer highway cleanup is at 6:00PM on July 29th at Morgan's in Pine Bluff 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P. Meet in the parking lot at 6:00.

It's time for the annual Dane County Take a Stake in our Waters (formerly Take a Stake in the Lakes)!  We'll be meeting on Saturday, 6/17 at Goodland Park on Lake Waubesa (near Christy's Landing) at 10AM.

Bring work gloves, rakes (heavy duty garden rakes are best) and shoes to get wet.

We will have t-shirts, water and maybe some drinks for the workers.  Cleanup usually takes about 1 1/2 hours or so, then we head to Christy's for lunch.

• Until 9:15: The Harmony (There's a concert with a cover at 9:45)

• Until 11:00 - Tex Tubb's Taco Palace (late night tacos were a little known substinance food of pirates)

Take a Stake in the Lakes and Cottage Grove Fireman's Fest This Weekend

It's time for the annual Dane County Take a Stake in the Lakes!  We'll be meeting on Saturday, 6/20 at Goodland Park on Lake Waubesa (near Christy's Landing) at 10AM.

Spring Highway Cleanup 4/25, April Member Meeting 4/29

Our spring highway cleanup is coming up Saturday 4/25! We're meeting at 10:30AM in the parking lot at Morgan's in Pine Bluff, 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P.
We're hoping to hit the road at 10:30, so arrive a little early to get your bags and orange vest (and Bloody Mary from the bar)!  After we'll stick around for some lunch.
Bring work gloves, long pants and boots are recommended because it can be muddy along the road.
In the event of rain, we will still clean. If there is lightning, we will reschedule to the Sunday, 4/26.
Following right on it's heels, our next monthly meeting is coming up the next week!  We're meeting at 7PM on April 29th in the Grotto at Angelo's in Monona (5801 Monona Dr).
There will be a social half-hour at 7:00, followed by the meeting at 7:30.

Fall Highway Cleanup - This Saturday!

The fall highway cleanup is upon us this weekend!

Bring work gloves, long pants and boots are recommended because it can be muddy along the road.Meet at 10AM on Saturday (10/4) at Morgan's in Pine Bluff, 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P.  We'll grab a quick lunch at Morgan's after we clean.

In case of rain, we'll meet at 10AM on Sunday (10/5).
